Norwegian bases third aircraft in Warsaw
Norwegian, Scandinavia’s largest low fares airline, will from June base a third aircraft at the Warsaw base and add 5 new routes and new frequencies to an already extensive network. This will give Norwegian a total of 22 international routes out of Poland.“The added capacity will strengthen our position in Poland and allow us to grow even further. We will start four new routes linking Poland with Scandinavia, and one new route between Poland and Croatia. In addition we will add capacity on another five routes. This will give us a total of 22 routes from Poland this summer.
“The expansion reinforces our position as the leading carrier between Poland and Scandinavia, with over 100 weekly flights, and confirms that Norwegian’s product and prices are very well received in the Polish market” says Daniel Skjeldam, Chief Commercial Officer in Norwegian.

Today Norwegian has a total of 35 aircraft. Norwegian has 51 Boeing 737-800 on order to be delivered between 2008 and 2014. The company offers a network of 141 routes to 75 destinations.
