Fly up a class on lower fares

Following the recent announcement of additional flights from Aberdeen, Newcastle and Southampton, Eastern Airways is introducing brand new great value one way fares on its “blissness class” services.

The UK regional airline will offer fares starting from just £49 one way, including taxes, fees and charges on services from Aberdeen to Newcastle, Southampton and Leeds Bradford; from Newcastle to Southampton and Cardiff; and from Southampton to Leeds Bradford.

From 3 March, the independent operator, which is one of the UK’s most punctual scheduled airlines*, will increase weekday flights to 6 a day from Aberdeen to Newcastle, 4 a day from Aberdeen to Southampton and from Newcastle to Southampton. From 7 April, weekday flights will increase to 4 a day from Aberdeen to Leeds Bradford, Southampton to Leeds Bradford and 3 a day from Newcastle to Cardiff.

All customers travelling with Eastern Airways benefit from dedicated fast track security channels at Newcastle, Southampton, Leeds Bradford and Cardiff airports and the airline does not charge for hold baggage. Onboard, all passengers have a choice of seat and are offered complimentary drinks and snacks, including champagne.

Chris Holliday, Eastern Airways’ chief operating officer, said: “To accompany the introduction of our new schedules, which provide even greater choice of flights from Aberdeen, Newcastle and Southampton, we are also offering travellers great value one way fares to major UK cities this summer. There are no additional costs for preferred seats or hold luggage, however we do advise passengers to book early to benefit from these fares.”

Services from Aberdeen to Newcastle and Southampton along with flights from Newcastle to Southampton will be operated by larger 50 seat Saab 2000 aircraft, increasing capacity by up to 60%.
