Delta listed amongst top carriers to Latin America
Delta Air Lines once again won accolades from travellers who ranked Delta’s cabin comfort and service, food and beverage service, ticketing and boarding process and SkyMiles frequent flyer program among the best in the industry. In a survey, readers of Latin Trade magazine ranked Delta as the top U.S. carrier to Latin America and second overall on the magazine’s list.Latin Trade readers gave Delta the highest spot in ticketing and boarding experience, and second highest in frequent flier program among traditional network carriers in the U.S. and Latin America.
“We are proud to be recognized by our customers and the readers of Latin Trade for the high level of service we provide throughout the customer experience in Latin America and around the world,” said Christophe Didier, Delta’s vice president of Sales and Government Affairs in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Delta also ranked high on the list in the category of airport lounges. The Delta Crown Room Club at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport topped the list among U.S. carriers and ranked highest in ease of access. Airport lounges were ranked based on ambience, business support, ease of access, electronic and Internet capabilities, food and bar, and service and staff.

In addition, the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Delta’s primary hub airport, topped the list in its respective category. Hartsfield-Jackson proudly bears the distinction of being world’s busiest passenger airport, handling an estimated 85 million people annually.
