Alternative Airlines gets the hots for Jordan Innovative on-line flight booking site, Alternative Airlines, has teamed up with Royal Jordanian Airlines to offer great discount fares to Amman and Aqaba in Jordan, Aleppo in Syria, Sanaa and Aden in Yemen plus Riyadh and Dammam in Saudi Arabia.

It has already been reported by the Jordanian Tourist Board in London that bookings to Jordan are booming for 2008 and Alternative Airlines can confirm that Jordan - especially the Red and Dead Sea resorts - are being seen as cool places to visit this year.

Managing Director of Alternative Airlines, John Pope said: "Aqaba lies on the very tip of the Red Sea, which is one of the world's most exotic and fascinating seascapes. We are seeing that it's proving a popular destination with a younger, more sophisticated type of traveller who is happy to make their flights bookings and hotel arrangements separately.

“From the fabulous five star resorts hotels, such as the MovenPick or the Intercontinental, through to two star "Dive" shacks, Aqaba is a great place to stay and we're seeing a steady increase in the number of flight bookings across all types of travellers. Alternatively the Dead Sea - served through Amman (Queen Alia International Airport) - is also rapidly developing as a year round, luxurious short break resort or eco-tourist destination."

Prices to Amman start from £391 including all taxes and surcharges. Royal Jordanian flies daily from London Heathrow to Amman and offer a two class service, business and economy.

Flights can be booked and immediately confirmed online on at Alternativeairlines.com.
