More choice for business travellers
Business travellers now have a greater choice of services as Eastern Airways, launches more flights from the UK regions. From Monday (7 April 2008), the UK regional carrier, which is one of the UK’s most punctual scheduled airlines*, will provide more flexibility and convenience by increasing weekday services on a number of domestic flights.Increased services include:
Leeds Bradford to Aberdeen
from 3 to 4 flights a day
Leeds Bradford to Southampton
from 3 to 4 flights a day
Newcastle to Cardiff
from 2 to 3 flights a day
Manchester to London Stansted
from 3 to 4 flights a day (Mon to Thu)
This latest move by the airline follows last month’s increase of weekday flights to six a day from Aberdeen to Newcastle, four a day from Southampton to Aberdeen and four a day from Newcastle to Southampton.
Recently Eastern Airways also introduced lower one way fares starting from £49 including taxes and charges to coincide with the increase in flights on domestic services.
“Our enhanced services are tailored to meet the needs of business commuters,” said Chris Holliday, Eastern Airways’ chief operating officer. “As with many of our services we are offering the best choice of flights enabling travellers to conduct important business away from the office without the need for an overnight stay.”
All passengers flying with Eastern Airways are able to use its dedicated fast track security channels at Cardiff, Leeds Bradford, London Stansted, Newcastle and Southampton airports to avoid queues.
There are no additional costs for those travelling with hold baggage and, all passengers have a choice of seat and are offered onboard complimentary drinks and snacks, including champagne.
