Canadian Affair, the UK’s largest tour operator to Canada, will next week commence the first ever direct service to Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. The direct weekly service from London Gatwick, which commences on Tuesday 6th May, will give travellers greater access not only to New Brunswick, but also the three Atlantic Coast Provinces of Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland & Labrador, and Nova Scotia.

New Brunswick offers an abundance of sights and attractions for travellers wishing to experience unspoilt scenery, hundreds of miles of coastal roads and some of the best maritime experiences in Canada. These include the world’s highest tides at Hopewell Rocks, stunning coastline along the Bay of Fundy including the Fundy National Park and the Reversing Falls, and boat trips to view up to half a dozen species of whale. The Province is renowned for its superb fishing, attracting some of the best salmon fishing in Canada on the Miramichi River.

Kathryn Munro, Communication & Marketing Director of Canadian Affair, says: “For over 10 years, we’ve been offering the lowest cost, highest quality flights and holidays to Canada and we are delighted to expand our network by offering the first ever direct service to the province of New Brunswick. Fredericton is a former garrison city and we know that British travellers will love this destination and enjoy exploring more of the Maritimes.”

Lisa Gagnon of Tourism New Brunswick says: "With the introduction of this the first direct air service from London, we look forward to extending a warm welcome to visitors from the United Kingdom to our beautiful province, where they'll find some of nature's most awe-inspiring sights and Canada's friendliest people."
