Aer Arann has best ever May bank holiday uplift

Aer Arann carried almost 20,000 passengers over the May Bank Holiday, 15% ahead of the May Bank holiday weekend last year. Amsterdam, London and Edinburgh were the most popular citybreak destinations, and Faro and Malaga the most popular sun destinations.

Head of Sales and Marketing at Aer Arann, Colin Lewis said: “Bookings for the May bank holiday weekend are well ahead of last year. Our first flights to Amsterdam, Faro and Malaga took place this weekend, and they are really proving popular with customers. Ireland needs to prepare for a Dutch invasion as well, as bookings show a huge level of interest in our inbound flights from Amsterdam”.
