Aer Arann lightens the load for cash conscious travellers

23rd May 2008 Print
As the credit crunch stamps its mark even deeper into consumer spending, savvy travellers are turning to Aer Arann – one of Europe’s fasting growing airlines - to cut their flight costs.

Aer Arann is one of the only low-cost airlines currently lightening the load for passengers by refusing to sting them with hidden baggage or check-in charges.

Other low-cost competitors are notorious for charging extra for baggage or checking in at the airport, with anything between £8-100 depending on the nature of the luggage or circumstance.

Flying to 29 destinations in the UK, Ireland and the Continent, Aer Arann is particularly appealing to families and golfers who are often hardest hit by other airlines’ baggage charges.

“We are committed to giving our customers value for money and being transparent with our costs,” says Colin Lewis, Head of Sales and Marketing at Aer Arann. “No luggage charges and no check-in fees means no hassle for our customers.”

“There are so many hidden charges being slapped on by other low-cost airlines which suddenly hike up the price of the flight, leaving travellers out of pocket. We feel it is time to give passengers a fairer deal and thanks to our policy our customers are getting exactly that,” adds Colin Lewis.

The airline’s checked baggage allowance is 15kgs per passenger on all flights and for those with children the infant baggage weight allowance is 7kgs with one stroller or buggy per child.
