Alternative Airlines teams up with Air Europa

With American-owned online travel agencies being unable to feature Cuba in their flight listings, due to US sanctions, UK-based Alternative Airlines can now fill this gap. The independent flight-booking website has teamed up with Spanish holiday airline, Air Europa, to offer some exceptionally low fares to this exciting destination.

Return flights to Havana from London Gatwick start at £640, including taxes and charges (subject to availability). Flights operate daily via Madrid's Barajas Airport using Air Europa’s ultra-modern Airbus A330 aircraft on all transatlantic sectors.

Managing Director of Alternative Airlines, John Pope, said: "Air Europa is best known in the UK for flying holidaymakers to Mediterranean destinations, but we've discovered that it is an exceptionally enjoyable and cost-effective way to get to Cuba. Spanish holidaymakers have been enjoying the scheduled service from Madrid for many years but now we are bringing this opportunity to UK travellers - AND making it bookable on-line."

The Alternative Airlines website (alternativeairlines.com) offers users the chance to book from over 300 different airline carriers, including many local and regional carriers that do not have online booking facilities anywhere else.
