El Al cuts fuel surcharge

El Al, the national carrier of Israel, has announced a reduction in its fuel charge back to a level last seen in May. From Monday 22nd September, any tickets booked for travel on/or after 19th October will be subject to the new unified level of £69.00 per leg across all classes.

The reduction of charges, with the reinstatement of a unified rate of £138.00 round trip represents a saving of between £14.00 and £28.00 per person – (a reduction of between 9.5%/16.8% respectively). El Al has stated it will continue to monitor the oil price situation and respond accordingly.
