Air Southwest launches new Express service
As the main airline operating from the two airports, Air Southwest has already developed a range of services to help South West travellers through their journey, including free hold-baggage allowance, a generous hand baggage allowance of up to 7kg plus a laptop, and a "Business Plus" product tailored to meet the needs of business travellers.
Mike Coombes, deputy chief executive for Air Southwest said: “Our service is all about efficiency and convenience, and we’re constantly looking at ways to make the whole travel experience with Air Southwest as easy as possible. This new 20 minute check-in allows our customers to arrive later than previously allowed, which is great for those short on time or who need to arrive at the airport closer to the time of departure.”
Last year Air Southwest launched its ‘Business Plus’ scheme for regular business flyers offering ticket flexibility and a range of benefits including executive lounge access and fast-track through security at most airports. Customers can also claim one free Business Plus return flight for every ten Business Plus bookings made.
Air Southwest operates year round flights from Newquay Cornwall Airport and Plymouth City Airport to Bristol, London Gatwick, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Cork and Dublin. The airline also has regular flights from Plymouth to Jersey.
Last December, Air Southwest launched new flights from Newquay and Plymouth to French skiing destination Grenoble which run until the end of March.
All-inclusive fares with Air Southwest start at just £29 each way, including taxes, charges, baggage and check-in. Book on-line at Airsouthwest.com.
