Skybus route to Brittany returns

Jeff Marston, Chief Executive of Skybus said: “We are very pleased to be reintroducing our successful St Brieuc route after a successful first year in 2008. The route proved to be very popular with both inbound and outbound visitors last year and I hope we can build on this for 2009.
“With the euro currently strong we hope that visitors from France will make the most if this and our route by visiting Cornwall. In order to attract French visitors we have fully translated our website, making it even easier for them to book.”
The 1 hour 20 minutes flight to St Brieuc from Newquay Cornwall Airport will operate on Mondays and Fridays. Tickets are priced £79 and can be booked online at skybus.co.uk.
Karen Medweth, Head of Commercial Development at Newquay Cornwall Airport said: “We are pleased to welcome back this route to Newquay Cornwall Airport. With Skybus being the longest serving airline at the airport we’re delighted to be able to support and work with Skybus to help promote the reintroduction of the route.”
The airline has operated out of Newquay Cornwall Airport for more than 10 years and is best known for the service connecting the mainland to the Isles of Scilly. The St Brieuc route, launched last year, marks the expansion of the airline in to overseas markets.
