St David’s Park homes near completion

Parc-y-Coed, where only a handful of homes remain After over a decade of development, the residential element of St David’s Park in Ewloe is almost complete.

But for buyers who want to make this their home, one of the final ‘pieces of the puzzle’ is now being released.

A select venture of 43 new homes, Y Dolydd, is now available, and could mark the final phase of new property at the scheme from Redrow Homes.

Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (North West) says: “We’ve been building new homes at St David’s Park for quite some years now and it gives us great pleasure to see how successful the venture has been. Y Dolydd looks set to continue this trend – we’ve already sold a fair few and demand has been high.”

Y Dolydd will offer a mix of properties, from two-bedroom apartments to two and three-bedroom homes, with prices ranging from £149,000 to £200,000.

Patsy says: “So far we’ve had interest from first time buyers, families and investors, showing that there’s something available for almost everyone at the development. Going on how popular the properties have been so far, it shouldn’t be long before they’ve all been snapped up.”

And those in need of a slightly larger property could also be in luck, as neighbouring Parc-y-Coed, launched two years ago, has a handful of four-bedroom homes still available.

Patsy says: “Only a few homes remain at Parc-y-Coed, all in the three-storey Ribble design – of which the top floor is a sumptuous master bedroom with en-suite – which would make the perfect home for a family.”

The Ribble is currently priced from £280,000.

Y Dolydd and Parc-y-Coed are both situated at St David’s Park near the charming village of Hawarden. The development is nestled on the edge of the Flintshire countryside yet within easy reach of Chester, Liverpool and Manchester.

St David's Park is a mixed-use venture combining a high quality business park that’s home to many UK household names such as Bank of Wales, Barclays Bank, Unilever, Friends Provident and Redrow’s own national headquarters, with over 400 new homes, a four-star hotel and a children’s nursery.

With Y Dolydd now underway, only one parcel of land for residential use remains at St David’s Park and that has currently been earmarked for a selection of one and two-bedroom homes, mostly bungalows, for the over 55s.

Patsy adds: “St David’s Park is a total community with homes for every type of buyer. Our affordable Debut range has catered for young first time buyers taking their first steps onto the property ladder, we’ve had a whole host of family housing and this final phase would cater for older buyers and downsizers planning for their retirement.”
