It's all in the name at Cromwell Park in Buckley Pupils at Mountain Lane Primary School in Buckley recently took part in a competition held by local housebuilder, Charles Church. Pupils were asked to think of a new name for Charles Church's forthcoming development on Elfed Drive.

After receiving an abundance of thoughtful entries, Lynne Vogel, Sales Manager for Charles Church, decided upon ‘Cromwell Park' which was chosen by Jessica Day due to the sites historical connections with Oliver Cromwell who is rumoured to have stayed at Aberllanech Farm one night. Jessica was presented with her prize of WH Smith vouchers, and Charles Church also kindly donated £250 to the school.

Lynne Vogel comments: "I was most impressed with all the entries and the effort that went into them. It was a difficult job choosing the final winner from all the creative names that we received."

Cromwell Park will comprise an exciting collection of detached three and four bedroom homes and two bedroom bungalows. Situated in the delightful town of Buckley, the development will offer purchasers a unique opportunity to live in a thriving community.
