A place to call home at The Orchards in Rossett

Rebecca Gregory and Martyn Rossett The village feel and local amenities were the first things to attract Rebecca Gregory and her husband Martyn Rossett when they embarked on the search for their new home.

“We’d lived in Cefn-Y-Bedd in a four bedroom house for seven years but the location was just too rural for us,“ explains Rebecca, who is expecting twins in October. “We wanted to move into a village with good schools, and Rossett ticked all of our boxes.

“We wanted to move into a new house and had heard about The Orchards. We did some research on Charles Church and decided that we would like to find out more about the brand. We ended up being the first people to reserve at the development, and we were also the first people to move in!”

Because they reserved at such an early stage Rebecca and Martyn were able to pick the plot which best met their requirements – a four bedroom home with a south west facing garden, detached double garage and driveway. They were also able to upgrade certain fixtures and fittings with Charles Church’s Select package. The couple also took part in Charles Church’s generous Part Exchange scheme.

“We were able to Part Exchange our previous house,” explains Rebecca. “With the way the housing market is today, this was particularly appealing to us. Part Exchange gave us more control and enabled us to move to our timings, which meant we knew we could be settled into our new house before I was too heavily pregnant. We moved into our new home at the end of June and we are just about settled now!”

The Orchards is a select Charles Church development of just 19 luxury three and four bedroom homes situated on the Welsh border, in Rossett. There are plenty of local amenities, including a convenience store, chemist, post office a primary school and a high school.
