16th April 2008 Print
New-buyer deals at Bryn Glas The problems of being a first-time buyer constantly make the news and young people could be forgiven for believing that they'll never have a home of their own. But housebuilder Barratt can offer financial packages tailored to help new buyers take an easy first step onto the property ladder. On the popular Bryn Glas development, at Johnstown, just outside Wrexham, first-time buyers can put just £99 down and move in. Barratt will pay their five per-cent deposit and help with legal fees. Then, on selected plots Barratt will provide £500 towards mortgage payments until 2010.

The two-bedroom apartments are spacious, with around 782 sq ft of floor space, which is what you would expect to find in an average three bedroom semi. They are designed for modern living and low maintenance, combining superb specifications and contemporary styling with elegant finishing touches. The master bedroom has fitted bedroom furniture and en-suite facilities. New specifications including carpeted bedrooms and laminate flooring in the hall and lounge. Ceramic floor tiles are fitted as standard in the kitchen and bathroom. Brushed steel light switches, sockets and door furniture, a heated towel rail in the bathroom and downlights in the hall, lounge and kitchen are added luxuries. All properties have designer fitted kitchens, with an oven, hob and extractor hood included in the price.

Business is booming on the development, with seven apartments being snapped up in the past four weeks. Visitor numbers and sales on the site have increased since the opening of the superb show apartments. Buyers have been amazed by the size of the apartments which have been specially designed to complement the stunning location. All of the first and second floor apartments have private balconies to ensure the views of the surrounding area, including a tranquil lake can be enjoyed daily; those on the ground floor have attractive patios.

Bryn Glas is located in Johnstown, an attractive village within a 15 minutes drive of Wrexham town centre. Oswestry, Whitchurch and Nantwich are easily accessible, while the historic city of Chester with its famous shops and tourist attractions is within a 20 minute drive.

Bryn Glas off Stryt Las is open seven days a week between 11am and 6pm.
