Family fun at Barratt’s Parc Gellifaelog

Barratt Parc Gellifaelog development Fun Day - sales negotiator John Cridge with Catherine Maskrey aged 6 and her brother Adam A family fun weekend at Parc Gellifaelog, one of the most family friendly developments in the region, proved a huge success. Delighted children were kept occupied by a host of entertainers, including face painters and stilt walkers, while their parents toured the Tonypandy site in absolute peace.

“Parc Gellifaelog is such a family friendly site so it was the ideal location for a fun event like this,” said Barratt Homes Sales Director Sandra Dixon.

“This is a peak time of the year for people to be looking at homes but, with children and summer holidays, it’s sometimes hard to get away for an hour.

“This meant that the children got to see the site for themselves and the parents had the opportunity to take a really good look, sample life in the development and talk to Barratt Homes staff at leisure.

“There was certainly a lot of interest. Most families didn’t seem to want to leave and we will hopefully be seeing quite a few of them back here as part of the friendly Parc Gellifaelog community.”

Part exchange deals and special offers, including 5% deposit paid, are available for selected homes at the site, which currently has two, three, four and four/five bedroom properties available.

Set in an idyllic setting, close to Rhonda Heritage Park, it also offers excellent shopping and leisure facilities and easy commuting to Cardiff, Newport and Merthyr Tydfil via the A470 and A4119.

Properties include the four to five bedroom Ascot which has a family bathroom, cloakroom and two shower rooms as well as a generous fitted breakfasting kitchen with French doors to the garden.

Three bedroom houses are available from £192,500 and four bedroom houses from £219,500 to £267,995.
