Doors wide open at Maes-Y-Ceffyl

After successfully winning a competition to name Charles Church’s development in Church Village, Llantwit Fardre, it was only right that Lauren Johnson was invited back to open the show home.

Lauren, a pupil at Llanilltud Faerdref Primary School, won a naming competition in March when she came up with the name Maes-Y-Ceffyl – which means ‘Field of Horses’ – for the development. And, last weekend, along with her family and friends, she was invited to officially open the Maple show home. After cutting the ribbon and being presented with a teddy bear, Lauren was given a guided tour of the show home.
