Welsh rugby star to drop in at Abercynon development Shane Williams, one of the most exciting rugby players in the world, will be making a special guest appearance at Barratt South Wales' Maes-Y-Ffynnon development in Ynysboeth, Abercynon, Mountain Ash on Saturday 31st January from 1pm to 3pm.

Rugby fans are invited to join Shane and Barratt on the day, when there will be an opportunity to have their photograph taken with the star and to quiz him about the forthcoming Six Nations Championship. Shane will also be handing out copies of his signed autobiography to the first ten members of the public to join him at Barratt's superb development.

A key player for both Wales and regional side the Ospreys, Shane is notable for his well-known side-step, acceleration and his ability to find open space through opposition defence.

With over 60 caps for Wales, he is the country's all time leading try scorer. Shane was a key member of both the 2005 and 2008 Grand Slam Winning teams, and helped lead his team to victory in the 2008 EDF Energy Cup. Adrian adds: "I would encourage anyone hoping to buy a new home to come along and see Maes-Y-Ffynnon. We appreciate everyone is feeling the affect of the credit crunch, and that they may not feel they can afford to move at the moment, so we have lowered our prices. We are also offering our Part Exchange scheme at this development, where we could buy your old home, allowing you to move into a brand new home at Maes-Y-Ffynnon; there's no chain to worry about or estate agents' fees."
