Hoelgerrig Primary School builds foundations with Barratt

Pupils from Hoelgerrig Primary School are now well versed in the ways of housebuilding after visiting Barratt’s nearby Brecon View Park development in Merthyr Tydfil.

In addition to a tour of the development the pupils collected artwork they had designed for the showhome – part of a close partnership between Barratt and the school.

The pupils toured one of the showhomes on the development and were told all about the various stages of construction.

Barratt Sales Director Sandra Dixon said the artwork had been a popular feature of the showhome and that Barratt was delighted to welcome the children back to the development which is proving a big success for the house builder.

“We play an integral role in the communities in which we build and it is great to see that children can learn more about housebuilding with us and provide us with some great artwork for our showhomes,” said Sandra.
