Ebbw Vale home owners can let the train take the strain

The new homes at Cae Ffwrnais are just a stone's throw from the recently-opened Ebbw Vale Parkway railway station, which provides the first passenger rail link between Ebbw Vale and Cardiff for 46 years. It means the development is ideal for people commuting to Cardiff and other locations across South Wales.
Luly Brice, area sales manager for Redrow Home (South Wales), said: "The railway opening marked a major milestone in the rejuvenation of Ebbw Vale and has transformed the area into a prime location for people working in Cardiff, with journey times of under an hour to the capital.
"Purchasers can use the journey to catch up with work, plan their day or simply unwind, which is impossible if you're behind the wheel. And what's more there's no ridiculous early rise with the journey to Cardiff; the train which leaves at 7.40am arrives at Cardiff Central for 8.37am.
"What's more, that fact that the station is within walking distance means there's not even the need to park and ride. Commuters can leave their car at home - maybe even dispense with it altogether - and avoid the hassle of parking and any costs incurred."
Ebbw Vale is a town with a rich past but has now set its sights on a vibrant future. Redrow's development is part of that regeneration process with their Cae Ffwrnais development. There are also plans afoot for a new general hospital.
Redrow is currently offering a range of fantastic incentives to help potential buyers take their first or next step on the property ladder under the badge of ‘re:assure'; all of them designed to make moving as easy as possible from the moment of first enquiry right through until after the customer has moved in. Incentives include help with mortgage repayments for up to two years, the possibility of taking your existing home in part-exchange or help with a deposit, stamp duty and other moving costs.
Current prices at Cae Ffwrnais are from £101,995 for a one-bedroom apartment and from £105,995 for a two-bedroom apartment. Three-bedroom homes are priced from £159,995.
