What exactly does every man want? Well, that’s one question designer Aude Lesur has all the answers to, and you can find them packed into the style of her new, debut menswear collection under the brand name Credau.

Credauis less about seasonal throwaway fashion and more about stylish garments that men will want to wear again and again. Digital printing and high-tech details are teamed with traditional garment dyeing process, in a range of pieces to suit our modern day needs.

On the one hand you have your iPod and earphone pockets and on the other you have the brand’s dedication to supporting local industry and decreasing our carbon footprint. Credau uses 100% cotton, including drill, poplin and silk trims all dyed to the brand’s own vibrant colour recipes.

Garments age and fade over time, developing a unique character. Organic nature is a theme exaggerated in Credau’s digital prints where supernatural vegetation conquers the urban world. Take the printed T-shirt for instance and you have a landscape from Ireland fighting a cityscape from New York.

Twists, turns and tabs are just some of the details adding interest to Credau products. Pockets are not just pockets; they’re functional design features. Look closely, yes indeed that shirt placket is veering off to the left, that’s why it’s called the Diagonal Shirt. All is what it seems…or seams.

A definite must-have is the Smart Jacket. The soft tailored piece has a high calendar finish with an asymmetric pocket design. Silk trims and lining add to the understated elegance of the garment. Dress it up or dress it down, just make sure you have one around in the first place.
