Prestigious new homes to launch in Sevenoaks Set in a stunning, historical location, Halstead Place, a prestigious new development by leading Kent housebuilder Ward Homes, is launching on Saturday 17th October.

A Grade II Listed Stable Block and Coach House together with a Gate House form the backdrop to a collection of 33, three, four, five and six-bedroom semi-detached and detached houses, all with private gardens. Four of the homes are being sensitively refurbished and converted to residential use with the remainder being newly built including a provision for social housing.

Visitors to the launch event will also have the opportunity to view the luxurious five-bedroom School Master’s Lodge showhome where champagne and canapés will be served from 10am to 4pm.

The showhome, set on the original site of the headmaster’s house, boasts a vaulted ceiling in the master bedroom, floor-to-ceiling glazing and a vaulted gallery landing. The spacious kitchen/breakfast room benefits from stone worktops, a modern gas-on-glass cooker as well as two integrated ovens.

Considerable living space throughout the home includes a spacious drawing room, dining room, study and utility room. The large master bedroom and second bedroom both benefit from ensuite shower rooms and there are two further good size double bedrooms and a single bedroom. Outside, large landscaped gardens add to the overall grandeur of the property.

Historical features within the 22 acre site include a scheduled ancient monument and walled garden which are also being restored. Extensive areas of open space, including a village green and two former playing fields, will provide a real haven for residents. Expansive open space will be landscaped to provide areas where residents can play sports, have picnics or simply relax.

Nick Fenton, Managing Director for Ward Homes, says: “We are very excited to be launching Halstead Place. This is a fabulous, sought after location and the combination of both new and converted homes ensures plenty of choice for buyers. We are particularly proud of our house designs which complement the historical importance of the site. We have already had extraordinary interest; people are very keen to take advantage of the opportunity to live in contemporary homes in such a historic and beautiful setting.”

Halstead Place is five miles from Sevenoaks with its array of shops, restaurants and bars. Knockholt and Sevenoaks train stations offer frequent services to London; Charing Cross and Canon Street can be reached in 30-40 minutes. The area is served by excellent bus services and road links, with the nearby A21, A25, M25 and M26.

Guide prices range from £489,995 - £1,249,995.
