HomeBuy Direct proves a hit in Penistone
A new government funded scheme designed to help homebuyers on the property ladder is proving to be a hit at Emerald Green, George Wimpey’s development of new homes in Penistone.The scheme, called HomeBuy Direct, provides buyers with an interest free equity loan for the first five years, for up to 30 per cent of the value of a property. The interest free equity loan is co-funded by the Homes and Communities Agency and George Wimpey and is available to potential purchasers who have an annual household income of less than £60,000, subject to eligibility and affordability checks*.
