Frontcover make-up is increasing its standing as a cult item – only 3 weeks after going on sale in Boots 75% of its stock is now sold out; faster even than last year’s equivalent, Rainbow Eyes, which also flew off the shelves at a rate of more than 1000 per week in some stores before exchanging hands on ebay for up to three times the price.

The Frontcover range is only available from October to December and takes each season’s catwalk trends and turns them into ready-to-wear make-up collections. Its popularity lies in the unique kit presentation, and innovative products within.

Each kit comes with ‘make-up artist included’ – tips from session make-up artist Leanne Shaw on how to recreate the catwalk’s hottest looks from shimmering ice queen shades as seen at Chanel; metallics as seen at Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs; sequins as seen at Balmain (among many others!), nudes with a sequin deboss as seen at Chloe, and purples as seen at Givenchy. Brilliant value (£10-£35), and on 3 for 2 at Boots, they have everything you need included from products to applicators and eyelashes, so literally everything is right at your fingertips.

As you’d expect, the brand has been inundated with requests to make the products available all year round, and even Neve Campbell has signed an online petition! Watch this space for news of a spring/summer collection…

And thanks to popular demand, Shadowline - a revolutionary product that turns any eyeshadow into eyeliner – is now available individually online for £6.95. Set to become a make-up bag essential it makes your entire collection of shadows more versatile with a flick of the wand!

Just swirl the wand onto any eyeshadow and draw a line, it couldn't be more simple – then dip the wand back into the pot?to clean. For a more intense colour, session make-up artist Leanne Shaw recommends making a paste on the back of your hand by scooping up a little more shadow with the wand, wipe onto the back of the hand and dip the wand into the Shadowline solvent several times to mix with the shadow - this gives a thicker consistency and makes the colour stronger.

The rest of the range is selling fast – Velvet To Gloss (£10) and Inky Eyes (£12) are perfect stocking fillers; Lashes of Lashes (£18), Miniature Make Up Collection (£20) and Before the Party (£25) are the ultimate kits for party looks.
