Passion is high on the menu this winter at Häagen-Dazs Leicester Square

Luxury ice cream maker, Häagen-Dazs, is upping the ice cream stakes this winter with the launch of a new Limited Edition flavour – Mascarpone, Passion Fruit & Truffles – as well as the take-out Crepe Cone, available exclusively at the Leicester Square shop from 9th November.

 

The new Limited Edition flavour is an exciting combination of creamy, rich mascarpone ice cream with swirls of smooth passion fruit sauce and decadent chocolate truffles, resulting in an indulgent fusion of flavours and used in all of the Winter Collection menu creations. It is lovingly crafted from only the finest ingredients and, like all Häagen-Dazs ice creams, it is rich, thick and creamy and contains less air, so it melts slowly in the mouth making the indulgent taste experience last even longer.

 

Taking inspiration from its already popular eat-in crepe creations and following huge success in Asia, the Häagen-Dazs take-out Crepe Cone is a first for the Leicester Square shop.

 

Available in one exclusive recipe – Banana Caramel Crepe Cone – the take out creation comprises a delicate butter crepe filled with a scoop of Dulce de Leche and a scoop of Banoffee, slices of banana, a swirl of whipped cream, a drizzle of butterscotch sauce and a sprinkling of caramelized hazelnuts.

 

Completing the Winter line up are three delectable eat-in creations – Italian Passion, Mango Truffle Chocolate Dome and Cookie Passion Platter.

 

Italian Passion

A scoop of Limited Edition Mascarpone, Passion Fruit & Truffles and a scoop of Tiramisu ice cream is served in a stylish sundae glass and layered with crunchy waffle cone pieces, chocolate fudge sauce, clementine segments and freshly whipped cream, creating a decadent dessert combining rich and creamy flavours with fruity zestiness.

 

Mango Truffle Chocolate Dome

Taking inspiration from patisserie-style creations, Mango Truffle Chocolate Dome is an indulgent recipe comprising different textures and flavours. A Chocolate Dome, made from a delicate dark chocolate shell, is filled with contrasting Mango sorbet and served with Limited Edition Mascarpone, Passion Fruit & Truffles, fresh mango slices on a bed of mango & passion fruit coulis and chocolate fudge sauce. The Chocolate Dome offers an innovative ice cream taste sensation with the crunch and bitterness of the dark chocolate complemented by the smooth and sweet sorbet.

 

Cookie Passion Platter

Perfect for chocolate lovers, a scoop of Limited Edition Mascarpone, Passion Fruit & Truffles and a scoop of Choc Choc Chip ice cream, partnered with a freshly baked chocolate pecan cookie, whipped cream, fresh raspberries, a sprinkling of crocanti and a generous helping of chocolate fudge sauce, guarantees an immense chocolate fix.
