New look for Sheffield’s Aspect Court
Exciting plans for the major refurbishment of Aspect Court, situated on Pond Hill and formerly occupied by the Home Office, have been approved and include transforming the exterior as well as the reception area of the centrally located seven storey building.
The plans will update the outside of the building, positioned within a few metres of the new Sheffield Digital Campus and adjacent to both Ponds Forge International Sports Centre and Sheffield Hallam University, with a new-look white exterior and transform the reception with new floors and ceilings.
Tim Bottrill, partner at Knight Frank’s Sheffield office, which is acting as agent for Aspect Court, said: “The opportunity for full refurbishment means that Aspect House will undergo a major facelift and bring it into the 21st century. Being centrally located and the flexibility of office sizes makes this accommodation highly attractive.
Aspect Court lies next to Sheffield Bus Interchange, Supertram system and Railway Station and its central position, within walking distance of all city centre amenities and the core of the main retail area, makes it an ideal company base.
Its location also boasts direct and rapid road access to the national motorway network at junction 33 of the M1.
The building features suspended ceilings with recessed fluorescent lighting, disabled access and kitchen facilities on each level. It also benefits from an open plan layout and is fully carpeted.
Accommodation ranging from 2,000 to 40,000 sq ft is available within the building and the landlords are prepared to offer very competitive and flexible terms.
Campbell & Co is joint agent on the Aspect Court project.
