Kia brings peace of mind back to motoring
Nowadays people want more from their car than just a means of getting from A to B, they expect safety, reliability and an enjoyable motoring experience. In light of the current car safety crisis, it’s comforting to know that one car maker above all others, is committed to providing long-term peace of mind for motorists.
Building on a boost in sales provided by the Car Scrappage Scheme, Kia is stepping up its customer service efforts by extending its unique ‘7 Year Warranty’ to all its cars, delivering Europe’s best manufacturer-backed protection for new car buyers.
Previously available on Kia’s European-built products such as the cee’d and Sportage, the 7 Year Warranty will now apply to every vehicle in the Kia range from the Picanto city car to the range-topping Sorento.
The industry leading 7 Year Warranty is testament to Kia’s confidence in the build quality of its vehicles. The company has made significant investment in technologically advanced production facilities and manufacturing techniques, where cars are rigorously tested to ensure the highest standards of reliability and durability.
“We have already declared our intention to become the world’s No. 1 car maker for customer satisfaction and our new Kia 7 Year Warranty on all models is a major step towards achieving that goal,” commented Paul Philpott, Chief Operating Officer, Kia Motors Europe.
The new Kia 7 Year Warranty will apply to all vehicles sold and registered in more than 20 European countries after 1 January 2010, and offers the longest warranty available on any car, anywhere in Europe.
Buyers of new Kia’s will also benefit from good residual values as the warranty is fully transferable, which in the current economic climate will serve to make Kia’s a tempting prospect on the used-car market.
Michael Cole, Managing Director of Kia Motors (UK) Ltd., explained: “The warranty covers every vehicle in our line-up for up to seven years – and no-one in the business can boast that. Even better, the warranty is transferable to subsequent owners bringing a big boost for used values.”
What the Kia 7 Year Warranty means for buyers:
• Any new Kia vehicle registered from 1st January 2010 will have the Kia 7 Year Warranty.
• There is no mileage limitation to the Kia 7 Year Warranty over the first 3 years, and over the full period of the warranty, the mileage limit is 100,000 miles.
• The Kia 7 Year Warranty is fully transferable to any subsequent owner of the vehicle while still valid.
• Every new Kia comes with 12 months KIAssist roadside assistance package as standard.
