New shared equity scheme launches in Wrexham

Taylor Wimpey Manchester is bracing itself for a surge of interest from first time buyers at Mountain View on Brymbo and Tanyfron Link Road after introducing a new shared equity scheme aimed at helping those who are finding it difficult to raise larger deposits and make those all important first steps onto the property ladder.
The housebuilder is offering its Easystart scheme on a limited number of Shannon, Croxton and Henbury homes at the development. Demand is expected to be high so first time buyers are being urged to visit the Sales Information Centre located on Charles Street to secure one of the selected homes on the scheme.
Under the Easystart scheme, first time buyers can own 100 per cent of a new home from day one but pay just 85 per cent of the price now. The other 15 per cent is offered by the housebuilder as an interest free loan to be repaid within 10 years*.
With prices for a new Croxton home usually starting at just £144,995, this means that the same housetype is available under the Easystart scheme for just £123,245 with only a 5% deposit payable, making the scheme more affordable to those who think they can’t afford to buy.
Regional sales and marketing director Anthony Mansfield said: “The Easystart scheme is an excellent opportunity for first time buyers to get a foot on the property ladder and is particularly attractive to buyers who are finding it difficult to raise larger deposits.
“Demand will be high so potential purchasers need to contact us as soon as possible to ensure they secure their new home.”
All three housetypes offered under the scheme at Mountain View come complete with three bedrooms and allocated parking.
The Shannon housetype feature a fabulous kitchen, a spacious lounge with French doors to private garden, a family bathroom, downstairs cloakroom, three bedrooms and an en suite shower room to the master bedroom suite.
Like the Shannon, the Croxton features an en suite to the master bedroom, a family bathroom, downstairs cloakroom and stylish kitchen but the Croxton also benefits from a large open plan living and dining area leading to the private garden.
The Henbury is the third housetype available in the Easystart Scheme. Spread over three floors, this property features an open plan living and dining area with French doors leading to private garden, a beautifully designed kitchen leading from the hallway, en suite shower room to the master bedroom and separate family bathroom.
Home affordability has improved significantly for potential first time buyers over the past year and Taylor Wimpey has helped thousands of first time buyers move into a new home.
Mountain View consists of a superb range of properties featuring eleven different housetypes including a range of homes that are completely new to the development.
The development is situated on Brymbo and Tanyfron Link Road. It is just a short drive from the A483, which leads to the M53 and the M56 and M6. Wrexham train station is close by, providing good rail links to most major cities.
The development benefits from being a short distance from both Wrexham town centre and Chester city centre, so homeowners are never too far away from local amenities, urban attractions and entertainment, but can still enjoy a picturesque setting at home.
Details of the Easystart scheme at Mountain View are available at taylorwimpey.co.uk or from the sales information centre at the development which is open five days a week from Thursday to Monday, between 11am and 5pm.
