Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story on Stage, has announced that it will be extending its booking period for the Production from October 2010 to Saturday 9 April 2011 taking the hit musical into its astounding fifth year at the Aldwych Theatre, London. 

From 6 April, over 200,000 tickets will go on sale giving thousands more people the chance to experience the magical love story of Johnny & Baby live on stage! In addition, as Christmas features in this new booking period, the Production has announced its special schedule of performances for the holiday season to make this the perfect festive treat.
 
To tie in with this new booking period, it has also been announced that as of Friday 11 June the show’s Friday performances will see a brand new timing schedule with the matinee starting at 5:00pm and the evening performance commencing at 8:30pm. Whether its straight from work, a weekend break or a night out on the town, the new show times are a perfect way to kick off the weekend in style.

At the time of opening in October 2006, Dirty Dancing broke all box office records by reaching advance ticket sales of over £11million. Its continued success will see the show celebrate its fourth Birthday in October and has been enjoyed by over 1 million people in the UK. This show tells the classic story of the iconic ‘Johnny Castle’ and idealistic ‘Baby Houseman’ who come together in what will be the most challenging and triumphant summer of their lives.  This truly spectacular musical theatre show is one not to be missed.
