Enjoy spring skiing on Gstaad’s Glacier 3000

Gstaad, one of Switzerland’s most popular ski destinations, promises snow lovers perfectly groomed pistes, sunshine and magnificent Alpine panoramas all the way through spring.

It’s slopes in Schörnied and Saanenmöser are open until the 11th of April whilst Glacier 3000, the only glacier ski area in the Benese Oberland will offer guests the opportunity to ski right up until the 2nd May.

What’s more, after an invigorating day on the glacier’s slopes, Gstaad has many other activities to entertain visitors from hot air ballooning over the majestic mountains to culinary highlights in the resort’s 100 restaurants. The region is particularly popular with gourmet fans thanks to its diverse range of local and fine dining experiences whilst spa enthusiasts can revel in the ‘Wellness Destination‘ and indulge in the outstanding facilities located in many of the top hotels.

Spring Package: To celebrate Gstaad’s Spring skiing, five star Wellness and Spa Hotel Ermitage-Golf - ermitagegolf.ch - is extending a special package for four night stays from approximately £514 (CHF 822) per person including bon vivant board*, use of the spa area together with a massage and a herbal treatment as well as a 3 day ski pass. Valid for travel from 28 March to 2 May. Arrival on Sundays or Mondays.

* bon vivant board includes early-morning tea with newspaper (excluding Sundays), Ermitage-Golf breakfast, soup and salad buffet from 12.00 am to 1.30 pm, “Gluschtiger Chuechetisch” afternoon tea and dinner (choice of 3 set menus).

Glacier Ski Passes: One day passes from approximately £36 (CHF 59) or multi-day ski passes from approximately £73 (CHF 118). Children under the age of 9 can travel for free on Gstaad’s mountain railways.
