The Waterway introduces its Summer Terrace Menu

Summer is finally in sight, which marks the beginning of alfresco dining season. To mark the arrival of the warm weather, popular Maida Vale bar and restaurant, The Waterway will be unveiling its Summer Terrace Menu, created by Head Chef Christophe Cleget.

Seating 120 on the terrace and with fantastic views of the Grand Union Canal, The Waterway is the perfect spot for relaxing with friends and family and tucking into the mouth-watering menu, which is entirely cooked in an outdoor kitchen on the decked area.

Starters will include Chargrilled Squid with Sweet Chilli Sauce, Balsamic and Mixed Leaves, Crab and Chorizo Cake, Watercress and Sweet Chilli Sauce and Assiette of Spanish Charcuterie with Manchego and Olives. Mains include Roast Salmon, with a Borlotti Bean and Roast Pepper Salad, Balsamic Reduction and Deep Fried Feta with Artichoke, Red Onion, Cherry Tomato, Rocket and Basil Oil. To satisfy your sweet tooth, Vanilla Cheese Cake with Poached Rhubarb, Griottine Pannacotta with Biscotti and Eton Mess, are sure to tempt you!

Finally, what better way to toast a glorious sunset on London’s best voted terrace* than with The Waterway’s new summer cocktail menu, which perfectly captures fresh summer flavours; By The Waterway (Sailor Jerry’s rum, Amaretto, Peach Puree and a Splash of Orange and Pineapple Juice Muddled with Lime) and Chilli Passion (Russian Standard Vodka, Chilli Infused Sugar Syrup, Cucumber, Ginger and Passion Fruit) are sure to hit the spot!

For a softer refreshment option, why not sip on one of following non-alcoholic cocktails; Forbidden Fruits (blackberries and raspberries shaken with lime juice and ginger beer) and Honey Berry (raspberries, pure honey and lemon juice shaken with fresh apple juice). A selection of bottled beers, draught beers and ales, including the new summer draught ale ‘Summer Lightning’ from the Hop Back Brewery, will also available.

Live music performances will also take place at The Waterway every Thursday from 8pm so sit back, soak up the sun and enjoy the long awaited British Summer at The Waterway.
