Families in South Wales with their sights set on a stylish new detached home can avoid the potential stress, costs and delays of selling their existing property with a great offer from Redrow.

The award-winning house builder will consider taking customers’ current properties in part exchange for selected new homes from its New Heritage Collection-inspired homes at Croesonnen Court in Abergavenny.

Home sellers face an average of 11 viewings and a minimum of two months to sell a property the traditional way, according to property website Hometrack, coupled with the startling statistic that around 50% of sales can fall through.

“Our part exchange scheme gives them a guaranteed buyer immediately – us - takes away the potential heartache and stress; and allows them to move up the property ladder with ease,” says Redrow Homes (South Wales) area sales manager Luly Brice.

Croesonnen Court, located just a mile from the bustling market town of Abergavenny, is a small, exclusive development of four and five-bedroom homes. The properties currently available are a Cambridge, priced from £309,995 and a Lincoln, from £319,995, both four-bedroom designs.

Redrow’s homes combine the best of both worlds with traditional exteriors featuring bay windows, porches and other attractive design features; and ultra modern interiors characterised by sleek designs and top brand appliances.

“Visitors have been really impressed by the timeless and elegant feel of the properties,” said Luly. “Many people have commented that the exteriors are reminiscent of the homes they grew up in.”

Luly is confident that part-exchange will appeal to many potential buyers. “Moving can be very stressful and there is real heartache when you lose the home you have your heart set on because you can’t sell your existing property or a chain breaks. Part exchange really gets everything moving quickly and also avoids estate agent’s fees for our customers,” she added.

Redrow will make an offer on a buyer’s existing property, based on two independent valuations, often within 48 hours.

Croesonnen Court is the perfect place to raise a family, with a good range of private and state schools nearby. Close to the stunning Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains, the area boasts a range of excellent shops and leisure and outdoor pursuits. There is easy access to the M4, M5 and M50 motorways, with rail links from Abergavenny station.

The marketing suite, off Croesonnen Parc, is open Friday to Tuesday inclusive, 10am-5.30pm.
