Sales consultants come home to Redrow

Home is where the heart is and for two sales consultants that means working for Redrow.
Pauline Bennett and Jan MacCutchan were both long serving sales consultants with Redrow when they each decided it was time for a change and left the company. They are among the latest ‘new starter’ at Redrow as it builds up its workforce.
“As soon as I left in December 2007, after 11 years with Redrow, I knew I had made the wrong decision. But because of the recession there was no job available at Redrow for me to go back to,” said Pauline, who lives in a Redrow home in Whiston, Merseyside.
She kept in touch with her former colleagues at Redrow and was delighted to rejoin the company earlier this year. Utilising her sales experience, she now covers sales offices across the North West and North Wales, including Woodlands Grange in Bromborough and Ty Newydd in Wrexham.
“Redrow are the best – I was still doing things the Redrow way when I was working for other companies because it’s the only way I know. I’m delighted to be back,” mother of two Pauline added.
Jan had a similar experience when she left Redrow after nine years of working for the company. She is now based at Pentre Bach in Wrexham.
I wasn’t happy in my other job and wanted to be back at Redrow. Although it’s a big company, everyone’s really friendly and there’s a positive atmosphere,” Jan, a mother of two who lives in Dyserth, North Wales, commented.
“It’s exciting times now that Steve Morgan is back as chairman and I’m glad to be back where I belong.”
Elaine Mounsey, sales manager for Redrow Homes (NW), said: “Both Pauline and Jan have a wealth of experience of selling homes and we were sad to lose them. It was frustrating that because of the economic climate we weren’t able to welcome them back as soon as we would have liked. As the housing industry began to improve and we started taking on staff again they were the obvious choice and it’s a pleasure to have them back in the Redrow family.”
Whilst launching Redrow’s New Heritage Collection of homes earlier this year, Redrow chairman Steve Morgan said Redrow had taken on 150 people directly and created work for over 1,000 sub-contractors since he returned to the company in April 2009.
