Wine and curry - are you bluffing?

Do you know your wines – especially when it comes to choosing wines to go with Indian food? Now you can get some expert advice at a special Call My Wine Bluff and Curry Banquet that is being held at the Seetar Tandoori in Warwick Road, Kenilworth.

Helped along by Warwick wine expert Alastair MacBrayne, of the Dorjes Wine Company, guests will be asked to identify different wines by matching the taste to a number of descriptions they are given.

“We have done Call My Wine Bluff events in a variety of places and they are always a great deal of fun,” explains Alastair. “However this is the first time we have held one in an Indian restaurant so we are all really looking forward to it.

“A lot of people struggle when it comes to matching wines with Indian dishes so, hopefully, we will be able to help people make more informed choices in future while having a great night out at the same time.”

The event, on Wednesday June 30 will start at 7.30 and cost for wines and food is £25.
