While the average home in Maidstone is spending more than four months on the market, Redrow is offering its buyers the chance to sell their current property in just one week.

Part exchange is the hassle-free way to sell your existing house and pave the way to a brand new home and it is one of the options available to purchasers at Sutton Woods.

Latest figures from Home.co.uk show that the average house in Maidstone is taking nearly twice as long to sell now than it did in June 2007 so Redrow’s offer to speed up the move is particularly attractive.

Beryl Williams, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (Eastern), explains: “For many people, the potential hassle that comes with selling their existing property could be all that stands in the way of them buying a brand new home.

“But with part exchange they don’t need to worry as Redrow will effectively act as cash buyer for their existing home, in many cases making an offer on their house within seven days. They won’t have to worry about estate agent’s fees or getting stuck in a complicated housing chain.”

Built on the site of the former Senacre College, off Sutton Road, Sutton Woods is a stylish venture of eco-friendly two, three and four-bedroom homes. The development incorporates some stunning mature trees and areas of open space, while being just a short walk from the picturesque Mote Park and conveniently close to Maidstone town centre.

The homes all feature Redrow’s latest interior specification with its emphasis on convivial open plan living, plus contemporary new kitchen designs, including floor to ceiling units and top brand name appliances.

Current availability includes a beautiful range of two, three and four-bedroom homes priced between £172,950 and £319,950.

They are being built to comply with Level 3 of the Government’s Code for Sustainable homes, which means home owners will benefit from the energy saving properties of solar power renewable energy systems, low-use water management systems, low energy use light fittings and waste segregation bins to encourage recycling.

As Kent’s county town, Maidstone has a wide variety shops, schools, sports and leisure centres, bars and restaurants, whilst Maidstone East station offers journey times to London Victoria or Charing Cross of around an hour.

To find out more about the homes available and help on offer, visit Sutton Woods, open daily 10am to 5.30pm.
