Taylor Wimpey donation means summer fun for Maidstone kids

Pupils at two infant schools in Kent have enjoyed bumper summer fun days – thanks to help from Taylor Wimpey, the housebuilder behind the Ditton development of new houses for sale in Maidstone.
A donation from the leading housebuilder was used to purchase prizes for the stalls at Ditton Infant School summer fete on Friday 16th July – where the theme of the day was ‘entertaining the kids’.
Taylor Wimpey also supported the summer fun day at Loose Infant School in nearby Maidstone on Saturday 10th July by donating raffle prizes, with proceeds from the event helping to fund the renewal of computers in the school’s ICT suite.
This isn’t the first time that Taylor Wimpey has offered a helping hand to local schools – the housebuilder, which is currently building a number of new developments of homes in Maidstone, also made a £200 donation to Ditton Infant School at Christmas to pay for treats for a festive fair.
Taylor Wimpey is creating new homes developments across Kent under its Taylor Wimpey, George Wimpey and Bryant Homes brands, and has recently completed its Bryant Homes’ Ditton development, a stunning selection of houses and flats for sale in Maidstone.
Mark Pajak, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey South East, says: “We might be moving out of Ditton now our popular development here is completed, but we are still thrilled to be able to help two local schools with their summer festivities.
“Being a good neighbour within the communities in which we work is a big priority for us, and we’re always pleased to be able to give something back when we can.”
Taylor Wimpey currently offers a range of stunning properties at its Kings Walk development in Loose from £214,995, while new homes at Queens Square and Furfield Park in Maidstone are available from £209,995.
