Barratt is celebrating the summer at its exciting Abbottsmoor development – by hosting a special event there this month.

The site, in Port Talbot, already enjoys an enviable position near the coast but Barratt is keen to show potential buyers everything the area has to offer. And a family BBQ event, designed to do just that, will take place on Sunday 28 August from 12pm until 4pm.

“Many buyers dream of owning a house next to the sea – and Abbottsmoor allows them to do just that,” said sales director, Adrian Bird. “And its setting offers so much more besides – with country parks, dramatic waterfalls, meandering rivers and peaceful canals all within striking distance.

“We are hosting this special event so that would-be buyers can get a taste of this wonderful development and find out about the many schemes on offer to help them realise their coastal dream.”

The event will also play host to a number of fun activities for all ages including bungee trampolines and a bouncy castle.

Among the home designs on offer at Abbottsmoor is an eye-catching selection of two and three bedroom homes. From just £114,995, the two bedroom Washington features an entrance hall with a cloakroom and storage cupboard and a large open-plan family lounge/ dining area with French doors leading out to the rear garden. The kitchen is fully fitted with attractive, contemporary units.

Upstairs, there are two double bedrooms and a colour-coordinated family bathroom.

The three bedroom Essex home is priced from £159,995. Also featuring an entrance hall with cloakroom and storage space, this family home has a spacious lounge with french doors to the rear garden.

It has a quality fitted kitchen with extra storage space as well as a separate dining room. Upstairs there are three well-proportioned bedrooms and the master features an ensuite facility. There is also a colour-coordinated family bathroom.

“Buyers searching for this kind of idyllic lifestyle will love Abbottsmoor. And it certainly helps that you don’t have to break the bank to live here. We are very much looking forward to welcoming families to our special event in August.”

Port Talbot is a vibrant town and is currently undergoing a period of regeneration, which includes the refurbishment of its shopping areas. Commuters are well served by Port Talbot Parkway station and the M4 motorway.
