Destinology offers increased customer protection
Luxury tour operator Destinology has launched a ‘Destinology Air Travel Trust’ to provide double financial protection for its customers on all package and flight only bookings.
The trust works by placing all customer money paid for package and flight only bookings in a trust account administered by Barclays Bank Trust Company.
Destinology is guaranteeing all those customers a 100% refund from the trust in the event of a supplier collapsing. The refund will cover all aspects of the holiday, from accommodation to car hire.
If a company collapsed while the customer was abroad, Destinology said any financial consequences would be covered through the trust immediately and administered by Destinology so there were no implications for the customer.

Our no-delay, no quibble, inclusive protective shield will mean our customers can continue to book with confidence, and at no additional cost”.
