New Heritage Collection show home for Ebbw Vale

Its New Homes Month and a family themed show home designed to reflect the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape will open its doors in Ebbw Vale this weekend (September 18 / 19).
It will showcase the style and quality of Redrow’s New Heritage Collection, a premium housing product with more than a hint of nostalgia, influenced by the ‘Arts and Crafts’ era, but boasting a specification to meet the needs of modern lifestyles.
Redrow has deliberately set out to reintroduce a high degree of individuality to the way its homes look and feel. The ‘Warwick’ show home will display all the traditional exterior characteristics of these homes before visitors step inside to be wowed by the contemporary interiors and well-designed layouts.
The new show home has been professionally decorated and furnished and will feature Redrow’s specification. It will stand alongside a new ‘Warwick’ view home which features Redrow’s standard specification – still superior to that of many of its competitors - so buyers can see the benefits of both.
The launch coincides with New Homes Month, which is running from September 4th and aims to highlight the overriding benefits that come with owning a brand new home compared to an older, second hand property; such as improved energy efficiency, easy maintenance and no requirements for renovation. Overseen by the New Homes Marketing Board, events will be taking place at new homes developments across the country.
Rachael Davies, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South Wales), said: “Our beautiful new show home has been designed for families looking for a tranquil lifestyle in the midst of the beautiful Welsh countryside so the theme of the decor is soft and sumptuous.
“In the lounge we’ve combined an ivory chenille sofa with more contemporary elements, including silver damask wallpaper, statement light fittings and crystal embellishments to the window dressings. This theme continues into the dining room, where there’s a crystal drop light over the oak dining suite. An opulent master bedroom is dressed in an antique style inspired by the New Heritage theme with a stylish feature chandelier. The third bedroom is designed around the classic children’s novel Charlotte’s Web, with an eye-catching spider web wall mural.”
This collection of instantly recognisable homes will be available to buy through Redrow’s part-exchange scheme. Effectively this means the award-winning housebuilder will act as cash buyer for your existing property and pave the way for you to own a brand new home at Cae Ffrwnais. It means homebuyers won’t have to pay any estate agent’s fees and there’s no risk of getting stuck in a complicated housing chain that could delay their move.
There will be a total of 47 New Heritage Collection homes built at Cae Ffwrnais, which will complete this picturesque development, located right in the heart of the valleys. Regeneration locally includes a new hospital, Open University, sports facilities and railway station.
Local homeowners may remember the housebuilder’s original Heritage Collection at nearby Victoria Park, on the former Garden Festival site.
New Heritage Collection homes at Cae Ffwrnais are currently priced from £129,995 for the three-bedroom ‘Broadway’ semi-detached home to £169,995 for a three-bedroom detached ‘Warwick’ like the show and view homes.
