Hodsock Priory opens its doors to fine dining

Hodsock Priory, a privately owned 800 acre country estate located on the borders of South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire is opening its doors for an evening of fine dining for the first time ever!
The event, which will take place on Wednesday 20th October, will see the team at Hodsock showcase a delicious menu prepared by Paul Stokes, owner of Creative Cuisine from Leeds. Paul, who is already a regular in the Hodsock kitchen, due to his popularity as caterer for weddings at the Priory, has prepared a selection of dishes that will be sure to make your mouth water.
“We are looking forward to welcoming people to enjoy our inaugural fine dining event in the surroundings of our beautiful Priory,” commented Lynda Pepper, house manager at Hodsock Priory. “The four course menu with seasonal and local influences will be made even more special as our guests enjoy being wined, dined and entertained in the splendour of Hodsock.”
The evening, which is to be the first of many, is open to all who appreciate fine food and wine and is perfect for a special occasion or a relaxing evening mid week. The menu includes creatively presented, mouth watering dishes ending with a trio of decadent, miniature puddings.
“We want Hodsock to be enjoyed by as many people as possible and this is just another way in which we can extend a warm and sincere welcome,” commented George Buchanan, General Manager and ninth generation resident. “We are renowned for our annual Snowdrop spectacular in February and also as a premier wedding venue. ‘The Courtyard at Hodsock’, our new holiday suites and conference facilities are now open which will mean that guests can enjoy fine food and wine and then relax in one of our beautiful new bedrooms. With an ever developing programme of exciting events we know that people will grow to love Hodsock as much as we do.”
