Pack your sequins for a dancing holiday with Thomson

‘Strictly’ is back and this season’s line-up is bound to keep you on your toes. The competition begins in earnest on 1 October, but don’t think it’s just the celebrities that get to have all the fun…

You can follow in their footsteps and waltz your way around the Med at one of six  Thomson  ‘Dance  Fever ’ hotels  this winter with ‘Strictly’ stars James and Ola Jordan.Thomson offers a range of ‘Dance Fever’ hotels in Spain*, and Cyprus.

In these resorts, professional dance teams are on hand to help holidaymakers with a passion for the paso doble and other dance favourites to trip the light fantastic. Each hotel in the range features a free weekly comprehensive dance programme that is sure to turn budding beginners into Fantastic Fred’s or Great Ginger’s.

Available for 10 weeks only from January to March 2011, all ‘Dance Fever’ hotels will host dancing sessions throughout the week, taking in everything from the quickstep to the foxtrot. But it’s not all strictly ballroom – Latin, line and sequence dancing all feature as well.

Thomson’s dance teams will tailor the classes to suit all levels, or if you’d rather sit on the sidelines (a la Len Goodman) than strut your stuff on the dance floor, you can enjoy watching the exhilarating evening showcases.  Throughout the 10 weeks we will also have championship level dancers putting on shows and teaching everything they know.

Dancing devotees also have the exciting opportunity to meet James and Ola Jordan in person in March 2011. James and Ola will put on a dazzling night-time show at each hotel and you will have a chance to get all the behind-the-scenes gossip from the hit TV show first-hand with Q&A sessions and photo opportunities.
