Malaysian spice at London Restaurant Festival

Malaysia Kitchen (malaysiakitchen.co.uk) will bring a hint of Malaysian spice to the London Restaurant Festival this year, becoming an official partner of the event which takes place from 4th to 18th October 2010. 

The collaboration will see 22 of London’s Malaysian restaurants run festival menus, showcasing not only Malaysian favourites such as Beef Rendang and Satay, but also some lesser known specialities, introducing diners to the diversity of this colourful cuisine. 

Malaysia Kitchen will also be present at the London Restaurant Festival Suppliers Market where six Malaysian restaurants and three Malaysian ingredient suppliers will set up shop during week two of the event.

Restaurants taking part include Bintang, Bunga Raya, Awana, Rasa Sayang, Delima and Puji Puji, who will all be serving small plates of their signature dishes. The London Restaurant Festival partnership is one of a number of experiential activities taking place during the year long Malaysia Kitchen campaign which is a Malaysian government initiative, implemented by MATRADE, to promote Malaysian food in the UK.
