It's Christmas party time at Faversham's Prince of India
The Prince of India is to host a Christmas party at Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School in Abbey Street, Faversham on Saturday 18th December, featuring a ‘Live Legends’ show of top tribute acts.
The evening, which will feature the songs of Freddie Mercury, Frank Sinatra, Robbie Williams, Lady Gaga and Kylie Minogue, begins at 7pm and goes on until 11.30pm.
The £30 ticket price includes a Champagne reception, 4-course menu with a choice of dishes and waiter service, live entertainment and dancing.
A highlight of the evening will be when the Mayor of Faversham, Cllr Anita Walker, presents two new Customer Excellence 2010 Awards to the Preston Street restaurant. Manager Jack Miah will receive the Customer Excellence accolade for Manager of the Year. Owner Raj Abdin will be presented with award for Customer Relations.
The Prince of India has also been nominated for a prestigious Spice Times Restaurant Award 2010. Curry lovers can vote for their favourite restaurant in best local, regional or national categories online at spicetimes.co.uk until 30th November.
The restaurant is the current holder of Kent Restaurant Awards’ Best Takeaway.
Abdin decided to hire the school with a capacity of 200, because his monthly tribute nights sell out so quickly, leaving many regular customers disappointed.
“The extra room will also allow guests to dance the night away in the run up to Christmas - we’re expecting a number of staff Christmas parties so it should be a great night,” he said.
Entry is by ticket only.
