Redrow celebrates success in Ashford

Having built and sold 500 new homes during 10 years in Ashford, Redrow has just sold out at its most recent development in the popular Kent town.
But home buyers who may have missed out on owning a home at The Paddocks can still purchase a Redrow home in the Kent towns of Maidstone and Tonbridge.
Beryl Williams, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (Eastern), said: “It’s the end of an era for Redrow in Ashford as we have been building here for around 10 years and have provided approximately 500 new homes, including our previous ventures De Montford Park and Templars Mead.
“There’s always been a high demand for our homes in this location and, whilst we’re delighted to have sold out at The Paddocks, we will certainly not be ruling out further developments in Ashford to build on our successes here.
“In the meantime, we are still building homes in Maidstone and Tonbridge and, with our high quality craftsmanship and great choice of designs, we have obviously struck on a winning formula that Kent homebuyers appreciate.”
There is a wide selection of two, three and four-bedroom homes at Sutton Woods, in Maidstone, and two-bedroom apartments at Cannon’s Wharf, in Tonbridge.
Built on the site of the former Senacre College, off Sutton Road, Sutton Woods is a stylish venture of eco-friendly homes, with special measures to make them more energy efficient and therefore cheaper to run compared to many equivalent sized, older properties. Prices are from £167,950 to £299,950.
As Kent’s county town, Maidstone has a wide variety of shops, schools, sports and leisure centres, bars and restaurants, whilst Maidstone East station offers direct services to London Victoria or Charing Cross in around an hour.
The apartments at Cannons Wharf, in Tonbridge, offer commuters an ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life, within easy reach of the M25 and M20 via the A21 providing great links to London and the coast. Prices are from £197,950.
Tonbridge town centre, with its amenities including shops, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets is just a short walk away, as is Tonbridge train station, which has direct links to London in around 45 minutes.
Redrow’s ‘easi:buy’ scheme is available on selected homes at both developments, which gives home buyers an opportunity to defer a portion of the cost of their new home to a time when they have more funds available. It can reduce the requirement for a large deposit and homebuyers could get access to better mortgage rates.
To find out more about the homes available, the sales offices and show homes are open daily at both developments from 10am to 5.30pm.
