Brand new for the 2010 - 2011 ski season, Zermatt's hotly anticipated über-chalet, Zermatt Peak, has now opened and is available to book through luxury ski tour operator, Scott Dunn.

Occupying a landmark position above Zermatt village with breathtaking panoramic views of the iconic Matterhorn, Zermatt Peak has set a new precedent in Alpine chic.

Oozing style and sophistication, Zermatt Peak (sleeps 10 + 4) features five en-suite double bedrooms - the master suite alone occupies its own floor with walk-in bathroom, dressing room and private Jacuzzi - an open-plan living area is dominated by floor to ceiling windows with dramatic mountain views, library, internal lift and extensive wine cellar.

Guests can relax in the chalet's ultra-glamorous spa with its sauna, steam bath, and huge Jacuzzi, which stretches from inside the wellness area out onto the external terrace. A fully equipped gym is also in place with the latest cardiovascular cross trainer, cycle, vibration plate and free weights and the chalet's own masseuse is on hand to aid aching and tired muscles each day.

Zermatt Peak also comes with the latest technological and entertainment mod-cons; two HD cinema screens with DVD library, B&O sound system with connections for iPod and iPhone, wifi, Wii game console and games, flat screen TVs in all bedrooms with cable and Satellite.

Zermatt Peak comes with its own staff including a butler, gourmet chef, personal concierge, ski instructor/guide, chauffeur, chalet host, and housekeeper.

Exclusive use of Zermatt Peak on a catered basis is from £42,000 for seven nights. Price excludes flights and transfers.
