The National Holiday granted for Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding on 29th April, which is on the Friday just after Easter and before the May bank holiday Monday, presents the unique opportunity to enjoy a 12 day holiday whilst taking just 3 days off work!

To celebrate this special event Bamboo Travel have put together a regal-themed luxury tour called "Imperial Vietnam", which aims to take advantage of these 4 bank holidays. April is the best month of the year to visit Vietnam for decent weather conditions throughout the country, and there are still plenty of flights and accommodation available.

This princely tour starts at the delightful Sofitel Metropole in Hanoi, with a guided city tour and special evening meal at the charming Green Tangerine which serves French fusion cuisine. Next is Halong Bay for an exclusive overnight cruise on the private Princess Junk boat, before flying south to explore Hue's Imperial Heritage and enjoy a private lunch in a restored Royal Home from the Nguyen Dynasty.

Continue by road over the dramatic Hai Van Pass to the ancient port of Hoi An, famed for its cafe culture and noble tailors fit for any King or Queen. The tour ends in majestic style with 3 nights at the opulent Six Senses Ninh Van Bay in a Beach Pool Villa. This is a great place to watch the Royal Wedding on a flat screen TV, which starts at 9.30 pm local time, in the comfort of a two level pool villa which comes with a private wine cellar.

The Imperial Vietnam tour costs from £2,595 per person based on 2 people sharing a room departing on or around the 21st April. This price includes return international flights with Thai Airways, private transfers and sightseeing and 9 nights luxury accommodation.
