6th December 2010 Print

Travel company Cox & Kings, has launched its new and expanded Australia brochure for 2011-12 featuring a comprehensive programme of escorted group tours and private tailor-made travel across the country.

The new design of the brochure includes dedicated introduction pages for each of Australia's states with maps, weather charts, driving times and Cox & Kings' recommended highlights and also a festivals page.

With an extended brochure, doubled in size from 2010, there is significantly more tailor-made content giving ideas for excursions, short itineraries and hotels. Aaron Jennings, Cox & Kings' Australia Product Manager, says, "The additional space has allowed us to showcase the best of what Australia has to offer. We have included information and recommendations on each of the states, which should help clients when planning their itineraries and have expanded the different options that are available for tailor-made experiences."

All prices quoted are excluding any flights as this enables clients to take advantage of special offers from the airlines.

NEW: In the 2011 brochure there are two new self-drive itineraries, which allow clients to explore the regions at their own pace and with greater flexibility. Sydney to Melbourne is a 14 day / 13 night itinerary priced from £1,545 per person using accommodation in small towns and villages. The price includes car hire for 11 days, transfers where necessary and accommodation with breakfast daily. Melbourne to Adelaide is a 10 day / 9 night self-drive itinerary incorporating the spectacular Great Ocean Road. Priced from £995 per person, this includes car hire for 8 days, transfers where necessary and accommodation with breakfast daily. Cox & Kings has also introduced motor homes into the brochure with a 15 day / 14 night suggested itinerary for Queensland driving from Brisbane to Cairns priced from £1,575 per person.

NEW: The tailor-made sections now include more dedicated pages to excursions and experiences. New suggestions for the 2011 brochure include Blue Mountains Private Safari, an overnight sleep out in a de luxe version of the traditional swag under the stars, Bama Way, a 3 day / 2 night aboriginal journey through coastal mangroves, rainforest and savannah from Cairns to the north of Cooktown, and Mbantua Lunch Tour, an authentic opportunity to try bush tucker food and to learn more about the Aboriginal culture.

NEW: Tasmania now has a separate section in the brochure, which includes Royal Tasman, a new non-exclusive 12 day / 11 night group tour priced from £2,360 per person visiting Freycinet National Park, Port Arthur and Sarah Island.
