Buy a new home in Wrexham for less

People looking for a brand new home in Wrexham can boost their buying power with help from Redrow.

A choice of three and four-bedroom properties is available at Pentre Bach and to help make homeownership more affordable Redrow is offering customers the chance to defer paying up to 15% of the price of a brand new home.

Elaine Mounsey, sales manager for Redrow Homes (NW), explained: “At Redrow we understand how frustrating it can be to be caught in the rental trap, when what you really want is a home of your own. With that in mind we’re offering would-be home owners a lifeline with our ‘easi:buy’ scheme.

“It’s the ideal way for first time buyers and others who may be struggling to find a mortgage to step on to the property ladder, as they should only require a relatively small deposit and still have access to some of the more favourable interest rates normally reserved for those with large deposits or substantial equity in an existing home.”

Among the properties available with ‘easi:buy’ is the three-bedroom ‘Farnell’, similar to the show home.

On the ground floor there’s an open plan kitchen-diner fitted with floor to ceiling units offering plenty of storage space, plus a separate lounge to relax in. Journey upstairs and there’s a family bathroom plus two bedrooms. The crowning glory of the ‘Farnell’ is the master bedroom; complete with en-suite shower room, it offers parents a tranquil retreat with an added sense of privacy

On the market at £173,995, the ‘Farnell’ can be snapped up for an initial outlay of just £148,745 with’easi:buy’.

The outstanding balance can be repaid at any time over the 10 years when the purchaser has more funds available or when they come to resell.

“Unlike renting, where you don’t have an asset to show for your hard earned cash at the end of the day, if you purchase a home at Pentre Bach and property prices increase over time, you could potentially find that the value of your investment has increased in years to come,” Elaine added.

The ‘easi:buy’ payment is subject to terms and conditions and the deferred element is paid back at market value at the time of payment.

To help customers understand how ‘easi:buy’ works, Redrow has produced an easy to follow video guide to the scheme. It can be watched online at the housebuilder’s award-winning online television channel Redrow.TV.

“Increasingly we are seeing that purchasers research the local housing market online before viewing a property. With that in mind our broadband channel Redrow.TV enables customers to experience all that a Redrow home has to offer with show home videos, development films and ‘how to buy’ guides to explain the help available when purchasing a brand new Redrow home,” Elaine commented.

To view the ‘Farnell’ and two other show homes, visit Pentre Bach, open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5.30pm.
