Dominican Republic celebrates travel acclaim

Dominican Republic east coast hotel resort Casa de Campo has recently been listed as a member of the exclusive “Leading Hotels of the World” organization.

Resorts included in this prestigious listing must comply with a series of strict quality and hospitality standards.

The Dominican Republic hotel resort also received, for a second consecutive year, the award for “Best World Golf Resorts” issued by the World Travel Awards. The award was issued in London during a special ceremony to celebrate the 17th anniversary of the World Travel Awards.

The Dominican Republic resort is also home to a marina and yacht club, three golf courses designed by Pete Dye, including the famous Teeth of the Dog field. Celebrities visiting the Dominican Republic have stayed at the resort to take advantage of its amenities such as the equestrian centre, polo club, marina and Cygalle Healing Spa.
